2017 Champions Crowned at The 4th Annual POWRi Lon...

The amazingly successful 2017 season has finally came to a close. We crowned 2 champions, ate great food, had fantastic giveaways, and enjoyed everyone's company. We were pleased to expand our sponsor list and announce our new title sponsor Align Pro LLC and with K&K Earthworks returning as our presenting sponsor. The night was sure u[ in the air if we were going to be able to even get a lap in as storms were all around us. We did however get the entire show in and it was a great night. 16 600's, 9 Restrictor's, 4 Jr Sprints registered in for the night. We would run all our hot laps and heats then get the invert heats in to get our lineups set for the mains. First out would be the Jr. Sprint's. Saturday night took the Lonestar 600's presented by K & K Earthworks took to the 1/4 mile red clay Gator Motorplex. As the extreme sun and heat beam down clocking in at 101 degrees. After some much needed rest. And a long Saturday night. Teams started pulling into Gulf Coast Speedway to try again for night number 2. 21 Winged 600's and 6 Restrictor's checked in for Sundays Tommy Wilson Memorial. The track gave the drivers something totally different then Saturday night. On this Sunday, they would try to tighten up cars as the track was great . But a little slick.
